You can choose from two types of Versapak battery, the NiCad Silver Battery or the NiMH Gold battery. The NiMH Gold has 60% longer runtime than NiCad Silver but costlier though. If you buy a brand new Versapak Screwdriver, some models already include the battery and charger. If you work too often, it is recommended to buy an extra battery or spare.
